Job Description

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with a passion for hands-on work in precision manufacturing? We're seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the assembly, integration, and testing of low-volume, high-precision products and enjoys working with innovative opto-mechanical and thermoelectric systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks in both manufacturing and prototyping environments.
  • Review and provide feedback on electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical drawings and designs.
  • Translate engineering drawings into clear, detailed work instructions for assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Coordinate across disciplines to ensure project milestones and schedules are achieved.
  • Take ownership of product schedule development and stakeholder alignment.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively to minimize delays.
  • Manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with operations leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and labor practices.
  • Be available to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing and/or prototyping environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
  • Familiarity with machinery, machine building, and precision engineering.
  • Experience with Optical Metrology.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical builds, tolerances, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
