Responsibilities
Responsible for performing daily activities of revenue integrity
- Research topics for revenue integrity education and training programs
- Perform revenue integrity reviews and present findings for corrective action
- Liaison with CDM Management teams to support the maintenance of the charge description master
- Support and maintain reporting regarding all charge capture activities including CDM maintenance and workflows to clinical departments
- Maintain reporting to monitor national, state, and local information to keep current with applicable regulatory and legislative changes and tailor the revenue integrity program accordingly
- Serve as a resource for organizational and operational matters related to revenue integrity issues
- Maintains reporting and tracking of revenue integrity initiatives, including status and reimbursement
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- 1-3 years of work within revenue integrity, revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle informatics, surgical nursing, or hospital coding preferred.
