Maintenance Technician- 37$hr

Currently hiring 2nd/3rd shift Maintenance Technicians in the Northwest IN area paying up to $37 an hour .

Job Description

  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs for mill equipment and industrial machinery.

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute necessary repairs.

  • Troubleshoot motors, fuses, relays, gear boxes, encoders, and PLCs.

  • Handle troubleshooting and maintenance of hydraulic systems.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps.

  • Perform welding and fabrication.

  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and order parts.

  • Perform additional duties such as painting, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs and automation.

  • Experience with hydraulic troubleshooting.

  • Computer knowledge, with CMMS preferred.

  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting of motors, relays, and sensors.

  • Willingness to undertake additional schooling.

Work Environment

We have a team-oriented culture where each maintenance person collaborates with another technician. The dress code includes metatarsals, hard hats, glasses, long-sleeved shirts, and gloves.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
