In this role, you will:

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in catheterization labs under the supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor and CV Services Director.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, patient monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.
• Adhere to sterile techniques throughout the procedures.
• Collect and manage data for performance analysis and improvement initiatives.
• Support all assignments from the Cath Lab Supervisor or CV Services Director to ensure departmental efficiency.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and be available to respond within 30 minutes when on call.

What you need to succeed:

• A graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.
• Two years of current experience in a Cath Lab may substitute for formal education qualifications.
• Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date and must be maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT licensure preferred.
• If you are a new Invasive CVT graduate, you must obtain your credentials within 1 year of eligibility.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a Cath Lab, or equivalent clinical experience as part of your training program.
• On-the-job training with a minimum of 10 years of experience may substitute for formal educational qualifications.
