Description:
Get involved with UHD Spring Camp and/or UHD Summer Camp We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic Camp Counselors to supervise and guide children through their camp experience. Your role will involve being a mentor, educator, and positive role model, as well as ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for campers to learn and grow in.
As a counselor, your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and personal growth of campers
- Leading a variety of outdoor, educational, and recreational activities
- Supervising campers during lunch break
- Escorting and keeping track of campers during various activities
- Recording attendance of campers throughout the day
- Coordinating drop off and pick up of campers at the beginning and end of each day
- Coordinating with management staff to resolve issues that may arise during camp sessions
- Coordinating with other counselors to ensure efficient operations
All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
