The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking a skilled and service-driven Head Racquets Professional to lead and support our tennis, pickleball, paddle, and platform tennis programs. This position is ideal for a professional with strong instructional ability, proven experience running clinics and events, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming, high-quality racquets experience for players of all ages and abilities.

The anticipated start date for this role is March 20, 2026.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong playing background (collegiate level or higher required)
  • Certification with either Racquets Sports Professional Association or Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) preferred.
  • Ability to teach, coach, and motivate players of all ages and skill levels
  • Professional, engaging on-court presence
  • Strong organization, time management, and member-service skills


Position Overview
The Head Racquets Professional is responsible for organizing and directing all club racquets activities, including tennis, pickleball, paddle and platform tennis programs. This role oversees events, exhibitions, tournaments, clinics and private lessons while ensuring a high-quality, engaging experience for all members. The Head Racquets Professional fosters strong relationships with members, creating a welcoming environment for players of all ages and abilities. Additional responsibilities include leading membership communication and outreach efforts to promote and grow racquets programs, managing court schedules and performing court maintenance.
