Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cost Estimator, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping projects valued between $5M and $10B across various fields. You will be instrumental in delivering accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for civil, structural, and architectural projects in Vertical/Building construction. Your responsibilities will include conducting quantity takeoffs, pricing and parameter estimating, and supporting strategic decisions to ensure client satisfaction.

As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will:

  • Develop capital cost estimates for diverse projects.
  • Review contractor proposals for different procurement types.
  • Validate change orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Engage with external clients to present capital costs effectively.
  • Maintain organized files and detailed project records.
  • Participate in project meetings to share insights and updates.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in cost estimating throughout all project phases.
  • Experience with hard bid and negotiated general contractor roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Sage Timberline, MII estimating software, HCSS Heavy Bid, and Blue Beam is advantageous.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to acquire DOE and other Federal security clearances.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 15 years of experience in estimating and construction for Building and Vertical Construction.
  • Familiarity with alternative delivery procurement methods.
  • Understanding of the interplay between cost, risk, and schedule.
  • Certifications like CPE, CEP, CCP, or CCM are a plus.
