Department Overview
Experience the value of one-on-one patient care in the Fargo-Moorhead area. We offer Full-Time hours and a chance to create meaningful connections through personalized care. Your responsibilities as a Private Duty Nurse will include:
- Administering medical treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Providing essential patient care such as vent care, suctioning, G-Tube care, and personal care
- Working on exercise programs tailored to individual client needs
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide professional nursing services to patients in a home setting. You will work closely with patients and their families, as well as collaborating with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to coordinate and evaluate care tailored to each patient.
The RN will:
- Document human responses to health issues in the home health environment
- Engage in all phases of preventative care and follow-up services
- Ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience preferred.
- Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice and maintain required competencies and certifications.
- A valid driver's license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary, and OASIS certification is preferred.
