Ultrasound Technician Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technician (hospital setting preferred)
  • Valid ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following hospital and clinical protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging results
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately in the hospital system
