Summary:

Meta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As an engineering manager you will support, enable and empower your team, managing high performing engineers to make a meaningful impact on billions of people around the world.   1. Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation

  3. Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives

  4. Foster an environment of continuous learning, growth, and improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of, or PhD + 4 years of software engineering work experience, including hands on technical management

  2. Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management

  3. Bachelor of Science/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

  4. Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers

  5. 2+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers with varied skill levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience leading one or more real-time engine components (e.g. Simulation, Performance, Networking, Audio, Assets) for a AAA engine (Unreal, Frostbite, Unity 3D, or other/proprietary AAA)

  2. Experience building for multiple hardware platforms (e.g. PC, Console, MR/VR, Cloud, mobile)

  3. Experience with performance optimization of real-time applications

  4. Experience developing SDKs or shared technology that balances the needs of multiple shipping products

Public Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
