As a Temporary Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding guest experiences during peak sales periods. Working under supervision, you'll assist our store team with sales, customer service, and store maintenance while embracing our mission to create unforgettable gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through friendly greetings, assistance with gaming needs, and recommending products.
  • Contribute to a welcoming shopping environment by supporting all store sales initiatives and maintaining store presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
  • Assist in stocking merchandise and organizing products on the sales floor.
  • Help the store meet and exceed sales goals while minimizing shrinkage.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support inventory control measures and adhere to safety best practices.
  • Follow GameStop policies, including attendance and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow instructions in various formats.
  • Outgoing personality with strong customer service capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual candidates preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Meet performance expectations regarding attendance and professional appearance.
  • Physically able to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness are essential.
