Join Our Team as an Emergency Medical Technician

Starting Pay: $19.57/hr (Commensurate with Experience)

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time New Hires

We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians who are passionate about providing exceptional medical service and patient care. As part of our team, you will assess situations, deliver care, and make critical decisions to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize essential medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids.
  • Drive ambulances, ensuring optimal response times while navigating effectively.
  • Maintain all necessary certifications and stay current with medical practices.
  • Communicate with dispatchers to receive and relay critical information about emergencies.
  • Keep the ambulance clean, stocked, and ready for immediate response.
  • Document patient care activities accurately to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Adhere to policies concerning response times and patient transportation destinations.
  • Work effectively with healthcare professionals and public safety personnel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must pass the Physical Agility Test.
  • Must demonstrate physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry equipment as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); advanced education preferred.
  • Current state Paramedic License.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification as required.
  • Driving record must align with safety policies.
