Sanitation Team Leader
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Sanitation Team Leader to spearhead our sanitation operations and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance in our food production facility. Join us in ensuring our products are safe and our environment is pristine
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement the Master Sanitation Schedule and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Lead, train, and create schedules for sanitation team members to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to FDA, USDA, SQF, and GMP standards for food safety.
- Manage chemical inventory, pest control, and allergen control programs effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance teams to align sanitation efforts with operational goals.
- Maintain readiness for audits and ensure accurate documentation of sanitation practices.
- Track sanitation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Work Schedule:
Availability from 2:30 PM to 2:30 AM is required.
Note: This role is highly hands-on, requiring an active presence on the production floor in a fast-paced environment with minimal desk work.
Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments exposed to wet conditions and chemicals.
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching required.
