Human Resources Manager

Soni Resources is partnering with a dynamic and growing Mental Health organization near Point Pleasant, NJ, on the search for a Human Resources Manager.
This role is responsible for shaping and maintaining the organization's HR infrastructure, ensuring effective policies, programs, and practices across all people-related functions. This role leads the HR team and oversees talent management, benefits, employee relations, performance management, HRIS operations, and compliance. The HR Manager partners closely with leadership to provide strategic guidance and foster a positive, legally compliant, and high-performing workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational priorities and support long-term strategic goals.
- Lead and mentor the HR team while managing core HR functions such as recruitment, talent development, compensation and benefits, leave programs, performance management, safety initiatives, and employee recognition and training.
- Stay current on HR trends, employment regulations, and industry best practices, proactively updating policies and processes to ensure compliance and optimize resources.
Core Competencies:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and sound decision-making.
- Proven leadership capability with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- High level of computer proficiency, including advanced HRIS experience (ADP preferred).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications: SPHR or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years in an HR management role; experience in nonprofit or healthcare settings required.
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
