Position Details:

  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Grade Levels: K-12 students
  • Compensation: Starting at $58/hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide critical therapy services to PreK-12 students, supporting their developmental, educational, and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to students' needs.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to enhance student participation and success.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Attend IEP meetings to contribute to education plan development.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Registered with the National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Passionate about working with K-12 students.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric therapy setting.
  • Proficient in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric therapy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of sensory integration therapy and related modalities is preferred.

This position requires standing, walking, and moving throughout the school environment, as well as effective verbal and written communication with students and staff.
