Pay: $26 - $30/hour (based on experience)

About the Maintenance Technician Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join a leading automotive manufacturer in Fort Wayne, IN. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who is committed to maintaining production efficiency and equipment reliability.
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment-including CNC Lathes and Warm Forge Presses.
Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment according to electrical codes and blueprints.
  • Diagnose electrical malfunctions and repair or replace faulty parts.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements accurately.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and enhance processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a production-oriented maintenance role, preferably with CNC machinery and mechanical presses.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and various industrial control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and different shifts as needed.
