Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be key in managing clinical and operational activities, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. In this collaborative role, you will oversee nursing care and serve as an invaluable resource for staff. You will:

  • Coordinate patient placement based on acuity and staff availability.
  • Address educational needs of the unit.
  • Facilitate patient care conferences to discuss patient discharge needs.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with physicians regarding patient rounds.
  • Monitor patient conditions and make informed clinical decisions.
  • Manage clinical orders for prompt execution and appropriateness.

Job Requirements:

  • Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license required.
  • BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of employment.
  • 2 years of acute care RN experience preferred.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Bachelor's Degree, RN Diploma, or Associate Degree required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 6 months; Neonate Resuscitate certification within 30 days.
