Job Title: Level 2 RN ICU

Experience: Minimum years of experience required

License:
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse.

Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire.
TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.

Must-Have:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Effective role modeling to enhance teamwork.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Computer literacy.

Description:
Contract must run through the holiday season.
No guaranteed requests for time off for the three major holidays.
ICU day/night rotation required.
ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA/RQI certifications only), and NIHSS required.
The staff member must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate for the age of the patients served.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the necessary information to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs.
Care must be provided for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
