Job Duties
- Draft and prepare essential legal documents for courts-martial and military justice cases.
- Support legal operations, including preparing powers of attorney, wills, and separation decrees.

- Efficiently manage legal and administrative libraries.

Your training will prepare you to effectively interview witnesses, conduct thorough legal research, manage claims processing, and prepare necessary documentation for hearings and investigations. This experience is invaluable for your service and will also enhance your prospects in a variety of civilian legal roles, such as legal assistant, paralegal, or court clerk across various sectors, including law firms, banks, and government agencies.
Earn While You Learn
Instead of incurring expenses for your training, you will receive compensation while mastering these essential skills. This role provides you with on-the-job training, allowing you to earn a steady paycheck while qualifying for tuition assistance.
Job Training
Your journey as a Legal Support Specialist includes 10 weeks of Basic Training to develop foundational Soldier skills, followed by 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with practical, hands-on instruction.

Requirements

- Must meet citizenship requirements.
