Mammography Technologist - Full Time

MLR is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for women's health and possess expertise in performing mammography procedures with precision and professionalism.

Qualifications for a Mammographer:
  • Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Current certification in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a radiologic technologist in Washington, DC.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities for a Mammographer:
  • Position patients for mammography procedures and ensure proper alignment for accurate imaging.
  • Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of breast tissue.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of mammogram images.
  • Provide patient education and support throughout the mammography process.
