Description
The ideal candidate brings a wealth of expertise in project management, networking, software, systems, and data center delivery. You will work across software, networking, and infrastructure domains to manage the lifecycle - from planning and forecasting to provisioning and deployment-across our data centers ensuring that our data center infrastructure meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks to data center delivery will be crucial in maintaining project timelines. This is a high-impact role that will lead, drive, and ensure the successful delivery of critical data center infrastructure builds in our roadmap. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability, autonomy, and will require effective engagement across various stakeholders (both internal and external) up to Senior Vice President level.
As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will:

Own end-to-end delivery of multiple data center infrastructure projects concurrently across different business units.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Partner with various software teams to build tools and services that increase the efficiency of data center delivery

Drive Operational Excellence, create and maintain systems with robust observability, alerting, automated failure recovery, and clear runbooks. Participate in post-mortems and continuous improvement efforts.

Design and implement automation pipelines that orchestrate the entire lifecycle of network capacity delivery - from request intake and validation to hardware provisioning, configuration, and verification.
Responsibilities
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience working in a cloud infrastructure environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent internal platforms).

10+ years of experience in technical program management, solutions architecture, or related leadership roles.

Proven program delivery experience in cloud infrastructure, database modernization, or large-scale enterprise migration projects.

Cross-geography experience, coordinating globally distributed teams and stakeholders.

Technical credibility: familiarity with Oracle Exadata, OCI, Autonomous DB, AWS, or hybrid cloud is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills, including delivering executive updates and leading workshops.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
