Position Summary:

The Director of Global Supply Chain is responsible for developing and leading SKYTRAK’s end-to-end supply chain strategy to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability in support of global business growth. This role oversees demand planning, procurement, sourcing, logistics, and operations across SKYTRAK’s global footprint, aligning supply chain initiatives with the company’s strategic, financial, and customer experience goals. 

The position reports to the VP of Operations and collaborates closely with Warehouse, Inventory, Finance, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to drive performance, quality, and innovation across the value chain. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy aligned with SKYTRAK’s business goals, supporting product availability, profitability, and scalability. 
  • Establish a resilient, flexible supply chain capable of adapting to changing global market conditions, tariffs, and logistics challenges. 
  • Lead a high-performing global supply chain organization including demand planning, sourcing, and logistics. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency, cycle times, and service levels through process optimization and digital transformation. 
  • Oversee all supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management across component, contract manufacturing, and logistics partners. 
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards while mitigating risks. 
  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, OEM partners, and assembly operations to ensure consistent product quality and production scalability. 
  • Oversee production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity planning to align manufacturing output with global demand forecasts. 
  • Lead logistics strategy across global distribution centers to optimize inventory flow, transportation costs, and delivery timelines. 
  • Manage 3PLs and freight forwarding partners, cost, and on-time delivery performance. 
  • Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and export regulations. 
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for supplier dependency, logistics disruptions, and supply shortages. 
  • Implement and maintain business continuity plans for supply chain operations. 
  • Lead the adoption and integration of supply chain systems (ERP, MRP, WMS, forecasting tools) for improved visibility and efficiency. 
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track supply chain health, cost, and responsiveness. 
  • Utilize data analytics to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience as a Global Supply Chain Director or Manger role 
  • 3 PL experience. 
  • Project management and leadership experience. 
  • Strong people management and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills. 
  • Experience with InfoPlus, EDI systems, CRM, and POS Systems (Shopify)
