What You’ll Do As a Financial Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve financial confidence and security. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Developing and executing a sales strategy to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships. • Presenting tailored, win-win financial solutions that address client goals and closing sales effectively. • Leveraging multiple prospecting channels —including social media, networking, and referrals—to identify and engage new opportunities. • Analyzing market trends and competitive positioning to present New York Life as the trusted and preferred choice. • Meeting or exceeding sales goals , lead requirements, and revenue targets on a monthly basis. • Managing your pipeline efficiently, ensuring consistent follow-up, and steady growth in your client base. Responsibilities: • Deliver tailored financial advice and strategies by hosting educational workshops, one-on-one consultations, and seminars aligned with clients’ financial goals and risk tolerance. • Leverage CRM systems to maintain detailed records of each client’s financial profile, including goals, income, cash flow, and future expectations, as a foundation for personalized financial planning. • Design comprehensive, customized financial plans utilizing a full suite of New York Life’s products and services, thoughtfully matched to clients’ current and anticipated life stages. • Proactively identify and cultivate prospects through consistent outreach, including social media engagement, networking, and other marketing strategies. • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by serving as a reliable and knowledgeable financial advisor, earning trust through consistent communication and results. • Guide clients through critical financial decisions regarding life insurance, investment strategies, retirement planning, and other financial solutions tailored to their individual needs. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or a related field such as marketing or business development. • Familiarity with financial products or industry knowledge is a strong plus. • Self-motivated and goal-oriented , with a proven ability to contribute to team success. • Demonstrated success as a top performer in sales , consistently meeting or exceeding targets. • Comfortable engaging with prospects , presenting tailored solutions, closing deals, and actively seeking referrals. • Strong relationship-building and client management skills. • A business-oriented mindset with a forward-thinking drive. • Unwavering integrity and the ability to explain complex ideas and strategies with clarity. • Skilled in networking and leveraging social media platforms to generate new business opportunities. • Highly organized , detail-focused, and capable of managing time and priorities effectively. • Leadership and communication skills. NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENTS ONLY Compensation: $84,000 - $115,351 yearly
