E&C Engineer

Duties:
- Focus: Civil engineering support for wind, solar, and battery installations.
- Scope: Planning, design, and construction support; reviewing engineering deliverables; resolving RFIs; assisting with contract negotiations.
- Work Hours: M-F, 8 AM-4 PM (construction sites may require earlier starts). Occasional OT and Saturday work possible.
- Civil Engineer (Level II) Experience: 3-5 years.
- Preferred Background: DOT, government agency, or civil contractor experience.
- Education: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution is strongly preferred.
- Certifications: EIT preferred (not required).
- Self-managed
- Strong communication
- Attention to detail (submittal reviews)
- Familiarity with Google Earth
- Nice to Have: Experience with grading, drainage, and renewable energy projects.
- Software: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth (no design software like AutoCAD required)
- Certifications: EIT (preferred for Level II), PE (preferred for Level III)

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
