Job Title: Corrections RN - Day Shift (Lansing, KS)

Location: Lansing, Kansas

Assignment Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts

  • Schedule: 36 hours per week

  • Length: 13-week assignment

  • Experience: Prefer at least 1 year of Corrections RN experience

Compensation:

  • Local: $55/hour

  • Travel: $2,225/week (must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify)

About the Role: Amergis is seeking a dedicated Corrections RN to join our team in Lansing, KS. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in a correctional healthcare setting while enjoying competitive pay and consistent scheduling.

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

  • Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
