Construction Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the remodeling of kitchen areas in existing retail stores across Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the potential to oversee 30-60 projects at a time. The position requires regular travel to various locations throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.

• Coordinate resources with preferred developers, contractors, specialty vendors, and internal departments using project management systems.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity in project time, cost, and quality reporting data.

• Conduct on-site inspections and provide oversight to ensure project success.

• Monitor and report project transactions effectively.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in project management, engineering/architecture, retail operations, or construction.

• In-depth knowledge of job cost and time management systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and understanding of database concepts and applications.

• Expertise in small-box or similar construction methods and materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma with equivalent experience or a bachelor's degree.

• Experience in interior renovation for retail projects is preferred.

Work Environment

This position involves traveling 75% to 100% of the time, typically from Tuesday to Thursday, allowing weekends at home. Flexibility in travel schedules is required. The role includes benefits such as paid holidays, PTO, travel reimbursement, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfax, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
