Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional specializing in Amdocs telecom billing platforms to lead the design and delivery of complex billing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amdocs products, the telecom BSS/OSS landscape, and hands-on expertise in Pro*C, C++, or Java. This role demands strong architectural skills, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate across teams to define scalable, secure, and best-practice-aligned solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end billing solutions using Amdocs platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical architectures.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry and organizational best practices.
  • Develop and maintain modules using Pro*C, C++, or Java, based on project needs.
  • Define and document system integrations (APIs), data models, and business process flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and operations to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Work with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, and Cassandra for data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Utilize tools like GitLab, Postman, and Jira for development, testing, and agile project management.
  • Contribute to cloud-based deployments and architecture using AWS.
Preferred Experience
  • Strong experience with Amdocs Ensemble or other Amdocs billing products.
  • Deep understanding of telecom billing systems, BSS/OSS architecture, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6 to 15 years of relevant experience in telecom billing and software development .
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Pro*C, C++, or Java (Spring Boot/Microservices).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and modern development practices.
