Mechanical HVAC Engineer - Akron, OH - JOB 25-01041

Salary Range: $50K - $95K Permanent Position with Benefits.

Akron area company seeking to hire an HVAC Design Engineer to work with an interactive team of engineers, sales, CAD designers, architects, project managers, and service technicians to design and guide installation of various HVAC systems under the supervision of the engineering manager.

REQUIREMENTS
  • BSME or related degree
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience with HVAC Design
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems and building materials
  • Technical knowledge of forced air and hydronic HVAC equipment
  • Basic knowledge of building codes and standards: ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, SMACNA, LEED, IFC, etc.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must be willing to occasionally drive up to two hours to job sites
  • Willing to travel out of state for jobs or training for multiple days with prior notice

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
