Hourly Pay Expectations:
For the Experienced HVAC Technician, we offer a salary range of $33.92/hr to $41.46/hr based on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
For the Senior HVAC Technician, the expected salary ranges from $39.01/hr to $47.75/hr and varies based on experience, with an extensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
Primary Purpose of Position
You will perform a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration services for commercial clients while promoting the sale of various additional services.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Install, maintain, and repair sophisticated HVAC and refrigeration systems, including advanced air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure top-notch performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance to prevent system failures while ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices within the industry to provide exceptional service.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Qualifications for Experienced HVAC Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
- All necessary state licensing.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required.
Minimum Qualifications for Senior HVAC Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
- State Journeyman HVAC license.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor others.
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program is preferred.
