Prestigious AmLaw 200 Law Firm headquartered in New York seeks a Trademark Paralegal. The Trademark Paralegal supports the management of trademark portfolios and assists with filings, renewals, and enforcement matters. This role involves conducting trademark and patent searches, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and foreign counsel. Strong organizational skills and knowledge of IP procedures are essential for success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, file, and monitor trademark applications and renewals with USPTO and international jurisdictions.
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and assist with IP litigation and enforcement matters.
- Maintain trademark and patent databases, docketing systems, and accurate portfolio records.
- Draft and file responses to office actions and other trademark-related legal documents.
- Coordinate with clients and foreign counsel on filings, updates, and licensing agreements.
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of trademark paralegal experience with knowledge of USPTO rules and international filings.
- Familiarity with patent databases and IP management platforms; CPI certification desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trademark docketing software; strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
