Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services would like to bring on a Board-Certified or Residency trained Criticalist to our well established, rapidly growing 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital

Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services is in the southern borough of Staten Island in NYC. This location is easily commutable to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the other boroughs of NYC, along with NJ and Philadelphia a short car ride away. This is a great area to live in, with easy access to beaches, sports, arts, Broadway, entertainment, several airports, parks, shopping and more Our hospital culture is collaborative and fun and the veterinarians in this area have been referring to our family of hospitals for over twenty years. This location has enabled us to provide emergency and referral veterinary care closer to home for our established base of clients as well as new clients in the Staten Island area.

How you will make a difference:

Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services sees a diverse caseload of emergency and referral patients. As GSiVS's Critical Care specialist, you will work alongside our residency trained surgeon and ER doctors to help serve the clients and patients of Staten Island by providing cutting edge medical and diagnostic services. You will guide the department as well as support the emergency and surgical departments through consultation and case management. You will have the opportunity to help elevate the knowledge and skill of the licensed veterinary technicians and assistants, enabling them to provide the best care possible for our patients. As the only boarded Criticalist on Staten Island, you will be a point of contact for referring veterinarians enabling collaboration and improved patient care across Staten Island.

Schedule:
  • 4-day work week
  • No weekends
Benefits and Compensation:
  • As a criticalist you can expect to make $250,000 base, depending on experience, with additional production compensation

Base Pay

$250,000-$250,000 USD
