Claims Management
You will be directly responsible for claim and account management, guided by our mission:

Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of positivity, respect, collaboration, and excellence.
- Lead by example within team-building initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients.
- Make prompt contact regarding new claims within 24 hours to gather vital information.
- Accurately evaluate coverage promptly and document your findings.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims while documenting relevant details.
- Oversee and manage the litigation process for nationwide claims.
- Ensure claims are actively managed with an up-to-date plan of action.
- Acquire expert reviews for early case evaluation.
- Seek contribution in shared liability cases as necessary.
- Manage claim files according to applicable statutes and service contracts.
- Establish and adjust claim reserves following client instructions.
- Maintain a professional image and courteous communication with clients.
- Respond to inquiries both written and verbal promptly.
- Travel for mediations, trials, or client meetings as required.
- Possess a working knowledge of medical terminology and jurisdictional issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have, at a minimum:
- JD and/or RN qualifications preferred.
- Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of relevant experience.
- A proven background in managing medical professional liability claims.
Language Skills:
You must have the ability to read and interpret insurance policies, statutes, and professional journals. Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret financial graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are necessary.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office and various tele/video conferencing software is required.
Certificates and Licenses:
Preferred candidates will have JD and/or RN licensure along with the appropriate jurisdictional adjuster license.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit and use hands for various tasks.
- Occasionally required to lift items over 10 pounds.
- Travel required, including overnight stays in hotels.
