Corporate Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee technical accounting and financial reporting, including preparation of SEC filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify financial needs and support business solutions
- Lead and support the accounting team with strong, trust-based leadership and productivity
- Communicate effectively through excellent written and verbal skills
- Apply strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial planning to support business growth
- Manage outsourced tax functions and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards
- Implement consistent accounting policies and procedures across all programs and departments
- Exhibit curiosity, collaboration, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior Controller roles
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field
- Possess an active CPA designation and prior experience in public accounting
- Show proficiency in SAP and a deep understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Bring experience in manufacturing or consumer electronics industries, with a preference for automotive
