The Position: We are looking for a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role includes providing first-assist support in the operating room as well as evaluating patients in the clinic for postoperative care. You will thrive in a collaborative work environment alongside a strong and established surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-assist support in the operating room and perform simple procedures, as well as conduct inpatient rounding when on call and as requested by the surgeon.
• Dedicate 1-2 clinic days per week based on clinic demands.
• Fulfill call obligations one weekend per month (Friday through Sunday), serving as the first call for rounding and assisting ED patients with clinic MD and/or TACS MD support available.
• Coordinate care across specialties to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Manage 20-22 patients per day in the clinic.
• Surgical volume will vary based on case types.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with national certification and state licensure.
• Prior experience in surgical or procedural care is preferred.
• Ability to work in both clinic and operating room settings with flexibility to accommodate surgical cases and clinic needs.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
