Industrial Maintenance Technician

Contract manufacturing facility running high-speed filling, labeling, and capping lines for clients for national retailers, consumer packaged goods, private and OTC products. The client seeks Industrial Maintenance Technicians who troubleshoot equipment, keep lines running, and aren't above stepping onto the floor to help production when needed.
Day-to-Day:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Work with photo eyes, sensors, safety relays, PLCs, and 3-phase 480V systems
- Maintain gravity and pressure-fed piston fillers, conveyors, labelers, cappers, and packaging equipment
- Diagnose issues with chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, valves, and instrumentation
- Interpret mechanical drawings and identify root causes
- Mix of reactive repairs and preventive maintenance
- 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (+$0.75/hr)
- 3rd Shift: Sun-Thu, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (+$1.50/hr)
- Saturday OT as needed for production demands
- Climate-controlled facility

- Tuition reimbursement: $1,500/year after 1 year
- Weekly Pay
- HS diploma/GED
- 3-5 years maintaining automated filling/packaging equipment (pharma, cosmetics, or food manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with 480V systems and packaging machinery (labelers, fillers, cappers, cartoners, etc.)
- PLC knowledge preferred
- Must provide basic hand tools (lockable toolbox provided)
- Must be available to work Saturdays as needed for production demands
- Comfortable supporting production operations when necessary
