Job Description
A leading defense industry distribution and logistics company is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join its growing team. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.

This position requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and precision. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent time-management skills, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and productive workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately receive and verify incoming materials from vendors, customers, or other facilities
  • Stock shelves, organize inventory, and process material orders
  • Pick, pack, and prepare shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling
  • Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and wire cutting machines (training provided if necessary)
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Support branch operations and assist other departments as needed
  • Follow all safety policies, SOPs, and environmental health regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving duties are assigned)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (for driving-related positions)
  • VantageClear Certification (or equivalent security clearance) required
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory and shipping software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred (training available)
