We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician Radiology Interventional in California.

Shift: Varied Day shifts 8a 4:30p with potential night call
Start Date: 07/14/2025
End Date: 07/16/2025

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult General Acute Care (includes Stroke CT s, ICU, ED)
Setting: Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital; may include outpatient Building 4
Responsibilities: Hospital coverage for IR needs, Stroke CT s, other procedures; possible outpatient coverage for contrasted CT s, MRI s, breast biopsies
Required Procedures: Lumbar punctures, barium studies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tubes, suprapubic catheters; biopsies (thyroid, lung, other); various centesis exams with drains; CT/US biopsies preferred
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) nurses & techs; large Radiology group for overflow/after-hours reads
Days Per Month: As needed 3-day coverage for this opening
On-Call/Weekends: Yes night call required, rarely called during week; weekend requirement applies

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Required

  • Active California medical license Required

  • Completion of Residency/Fellowship Required

  • BLS, DEA, and CA Fluoroscopy certificate Required at submission

  • Malpractice history Clean preferred

  • Availability at time of name clear Required
