Location: Foster City, CA (100% Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 Months (High likelihood of extension)

Pay Rate: Up to $80/hour

Overview

Join our innovative team as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist in Foster City, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a 6-month contract with a high potential for extension. You will focus on enhancing integrations among Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud using MuleSoft to ensure seamless connectivity and data synchronization.

We are seeking a candidate with strong expertise in Marketing Cloud functionalities, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio, along with a solid technical understanding of Salesforce ecosystems and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing campaign execution, data integration, and marketing automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively integrate Marketing Cloud with Service Cloud and Data Cloud through MuleSoft.
  • Analyze, map, and enhance data flows among marketing, customer service, and analytics platforms.
  • Design and oversee Journeys, Automations, and Segmentation strategies for targeted customer engagement.
  • Develop and manage Marketing Cloud Connect configurations to ensure seamless subscriber and lead data synchronization.
  • Work with developers and architects to identify and resolve integration issues while optimizing automation performance.
  • Track campaign metrics and create dashboards and reports to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
  • Document all system configurations, integration mappings, and process workflows.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
  • Demonstrated success in integrating Marketing Cloud with Service Cloud and Data Cloud via MuleSoft.
  • Strong knowledge of API integrations, data extensions, and audience segmentation.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL queries, data management, and journey optimization.
  • Familiar with Marketing Cloud Connect and cross-cloud data models.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical capabilities into strategic marketing insights.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Administrator certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced enterprise environment with multiple Salesforce Clouds.
