Description
Join us and explore our competitive wages, quick advancement opportunities, and a supportive culture centered on care, growth, purpose and belonging.
The Echocardiograph Specialist plays a crucial role in diagnosing heart disorders by independently conducting a variety of echocardiography procedures. This individual will perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) on patients of all ages, including adults, children, and neonates, while preparing preliminary echo reports for review by the interpreting physician or qualified licensed independent practitioner.
Additionally, the specialist will conduct stress echocardiograms, both pharmacologic and exercise, collaborating closely with qualified respiratory care practitioners, cardiologists, or other licensed independent practitioners specialized in cardiology. Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) images will be acquired under the direct supervision of a cardiac cardiologist or a qualified anesthesiologist.
As an Echocardiograph Specialist, you will ensure the completeness and accuracy of all exams performed, effectively communicating these details to the cardiology team for final interpretation. Individualizing patient care is key, applying age-related concepts in your interactions to enhance communication and treatment effectiveness, and participating in patient and family education.
