Description

The Leidos Defense Group is excited to announce an opportunity for a FMS Logistics Analyst with a Top Secret clearance as part of our Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) Program. This role supports the groundbreaking Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS) and is located in the area around Pax River NAS. As a vital member of the TMPC Integrated Product Team (IPT), the FMS Analyst will manage customer requirements by facilitating logistics planning, procurements, and lifecycle sustainment. Direct collaboration with the Navy Program Office is essential for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with TMPC Integrated Team Leads and Developers to effectively plan and deploy core hardware and software for FMS Customers.

  • Coordinate with In-Service Engineering Leads to ensure timely product acquisition and execution of system upgrades for FMS Customers.

  • Develop and manage FMS procurements using the Logistics Database (ARAS), and monitor the progress until materials are delivered to the FMS customer.

  • Provide crucial management support to the TMPC Product Support Agency for Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) of both hardware and software, including security updates.

  • Create Change Requests and Engineering Change Proposals, collaborating with Configuration Management Leads during the review and approval processes.

  • Engage in FMS Customer Working Groups and participate in teleconferences.

  • Draft final FMS documentation, briefs, and schedules while maintaining databases for tracking logistics statuses.

  • Prepare cost estimates for hardware and software procurement related to FMS planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Associate's degree with 9+ years in Logistics and Systems Sustainment.

  • Active and current Top Secret clearance.

  • Exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively deliver briefings.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with online Logistics Databases and SharePoint sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled in Microsoft Project.

  • Knowledgeable about the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Tomahawk Program.
