A streaming client is in need of hiring a Quality Engineer/SDET who will be a part of this client's Ad Server/Platform team. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about testing. You will be responsible for testing 'ODS' metrics and data ('operational data store' includes any and all data coming from the Ad Server and for the Ad Server; the Ad Server stores any and all data from it's adverti , the ads themselves, it captures all of the data from end-user devices and shows how customers interact with the ads, etc. You will test mostly all back-end services/data, data pipelines, with some minimal API testing. This is a technical role where you will be working closely with Dev/Data Engineering teams and also be responsible enhancing and improving the automation process that's already in place. You must also know write strong Python code, as well as test your own code/ scripts/queries. In addition, this team is really looking for a candidate who is passionate about learning, is collaborative, and has excellent communication.

Required Skills & Experience

*THIS IS AN OFFSHORE ROLE, ONLY ACCEPTING CANDIDATES IN LATIN AMERICA*
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer/SDET specifically testing back-end services, data, data pipelines, and some APIs
- Strong Python programming and testing skills
- Strong background in building test cases and working with SQL
- Experience working in an automation environment
- Experience working in a Scrum environment
- Must be able to work PST hours (some flex here)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Behave/BDD experience for testing
- Databricks
- Snowflake
- MySQL
