Description

Join the Leidos Innovations Center (LiNC) within our CISO and Digital Modernization Sector as a System Administrator. In this pivotal role, you will support a variety of classified environments, ensuring the security, maintenance, and robust support of complex classified information systems. Your expertise will be essential in adhering to security protocols and regulations to safeguard sensitive information.

Location: All work will be performed on-site in San Diego, CA; this role does not allow for remote work.

Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required, along with eligibility for Special Access Programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with government regulations and manage compliance artifacts, including vulnerability scans, STIGs, SCAP scans, and necessary documentation.
  • Install, configure, and support a mix of Windows and RedHat-based systems.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. ISSE on time-sensitive projects such as infrastructure buildouts, software installations, and customer interactions.
  • Perform additional assigned duties to support the team and mission objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance and the ability to attain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent industry-standard certifications.
  • Possession of a DoD 8570 IAT level II or higher certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience managing workstations in a Windows-based domain environment, including Active Directory and DNS.
  • Proficient in navigating Windows-based operating systems, including TCP/IP knowledge, software installations, remote system management, and common administrative tools.
  • Basic understanding of Linux distributions with a commitment to complete RHCSA training within a year.
  • Familiar with change management processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and managing compliance artifacts like SCAP scans and vulnerability reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience with managing virtual environments.

Pay Range: Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
