About Léon 1909
Léon 1909 is a high-end countryside French & Italian restaurant located on beautiful Shelter Island in the Hamptons. We are renowned for delivering exceptional dining experiences in a warm, guest-centric atmosphere.
We’re hiring an experienced full-time Bartender to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in fine dining or upscale casual bars who thrives in a fun, engaging, and supportive culture.
Compensation & Benefits
- $12/hr + tips
- Average: $1,200–$1,400/week ($63K–$73K annually)
- Tips included in paycheck

Schedule
- Year-round, full-time (35 hrs/week)
- 4–5 days per week
- 7–8 hour shifts
Experience & Skills Needed
- Previous bartending experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or Michelin-level restaurants
- Knowledge of food safety & sanitation (certification preferred)
- Strong multitasking & service skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy with details while moving quickly
- Professional, polished appearance

Requirements
- Must speak English fluently
- 18+ years old
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Legal U.S. work eligibility
