Part-Time Phlebotomist for Home Visits needed in Bronx, NY

Our innovative medical facility is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients, and we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Perform and record blood testing results in patients’ homes, including but not limited to height and weight.
- Blood testing, including finger stick and/or venipuncture blood draws.
- Candidates with proven experience in venipuncture blood draws will be required to perform these in a fast-paced environment during screening events, if needed.
- Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing.
- Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- Experience processing samples.
- Certification from a national agency such as American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Must have a vehicle to travel to patients' homes.
- Able to pass a standard background check.
Compensation:
- Pay rate: $25 per hour.
