Qualifications:
  • Prefer minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trustworthy (works with food stock and district-owned equipment).
  • Dependable.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Physical health as required to perform job functions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • A demonstrated aptitude / competence to complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Other, as immediate supervisor deems appropriate and necessary.

Job Functions:
  • Implement all required regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Supervise kitchen employees.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of meals are served.
  • Perform daily record keeping, prepayments and all computer functions accurately.
  • Compile orders, complete inventory, production records, accountability, and other reports.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate positively with students, co-workers, school staff and parents.
  • Have the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
  • Perform additional tasked as assigned by Director of Food Service.

Conditions:
  • Requires prolonged standing and walking.
  • Requires physical exertion to manually move, life, carry, and/or push heavy objects weighting in excess of thirty (30) pounds.
