Registered Nurse Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Mississippi or compact state; willing to wait for license if needed)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Burn ICU experience preferred but not required)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Ability to manage a 1:3 patient ratio (occasionally 1:4; 1:2 if ICU patients included)
  • Compliance with flu vaccine requirements (medical exemptions require documentation)
  • Fingerprinting required (remote or in-person options available)
  • Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality critical care nursing to burn ICU patients
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families
  • Provide coverage during at least one holiday during the assignment
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
