Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with safety teams to develop and implement effective safety programs.
  • Oversee financial aspects, including cost monitoring, change orders, and invoicing.
  • Work closely with project superintendents to determine necessary resources and scheduling.
  • Maintain updated reports on project metrics and costs.
  • Prepare cost-to-complete projections and manage change order logs.
  • Facilitate pre-construction planning sessions with project teams.
  • Review project documentation, including permits, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Build and maintain relationships within local marketplaces.
  • Engage with project teams, business leaders, and management to ensure project alignment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation projects.
  • Familiarity with software such as Procore, Build2Win, and P6 is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and job cost accounting systems.
  • Understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
