Responsibilities

ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR IV

  • Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Oracle database
  • Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
  • Resolves Oracle database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience with Oracle systems administration support for large scale environments specifically including:
    o 10 years' experience installing and configuring Oracle databases
    o Working knowledge of advanced Oracle 11 and 12 features such as RAC and Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
    o 10 years' experience writing scripts with a scripting language
    o Experience with Oracle on VMs
    o Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
    o Minimum of 2 years' experience on premise to AWS migrations
    o Working knowledge of data base backup and restore

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

  • Sitting for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Travel minimally, via car or plane, which requires ability to manage luggage, laptop, and briefing materials (up to 25 pounds)
