Bookkeeper - Part Time

Location: Dallas, Texas Preston Center Area
Schedule: Mon-Thurs Frid off 8am-5pm Flex hours
Reports to: Business Owner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in our records. This role is ideal for someone looking to work flexible hours while maintaining a critical role in the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions using [QuickBooks a MUST]
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
- Assist with payroll processing and compliance (as needed)
- Collaborate with accountant during tax season or audits
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Excel)
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and GAAP
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines
- Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with payroll systems or HR platforms
- Familiarity with accounting (if applicable)
- Ability to adapt to new software or technologies quickly
