Job Summary and Qualifications:

As a Surgical Technologist Lead, you will support the operating room team in delivering exceptional patient care. You will handle instruments and equipment during surgical procedures, ensuring quality and maintaining a sterile environment. In the second scrub role, your responsibilities will include assisting the surgical team by performing tasks such as sponging, suctioning, and manipulating endoscopic cameras. You will cater to patients of various ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

  • Graduation from an accredited Certified Operating Room Technician program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • At least two years of experience in a similar surgical facility.
  • Experience in open heart surgery is a must.
  • Competency in leading multiple specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Burn, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Basic Life Support certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment.
